School Starts Tomorrow :(

Hey guys, today I am posting about some sad news: school starts tomorrow for me. D:< So that means that I will probably be forced to change my blogging schedule to once a week instead of every day. I hope that you don't mind, but I have school until 3:00, and then volleyball, so by the time I get home, it will be about 4:30 or 5:00. I will just be too busy to post every day. But, I definitely will not forget about this blog and I will keep it up. So don't worry! Sorry this post is so short, but I am busy getting ready for tomorrow! Talk to you next week!

AG's Newest Releases Pt. 3

Hey! Today, I bring you the third and final part of my opinion of American Girl's new releases! So let's begin!

Truly Me #66

 I have mixed emotions about this doll. I think she is pretty, and I like that she is different from most of the other Truly Me dolls, but there is something I just don't like about her. I'm not sure what it is.

Ready to Style Hair Care Kit

 I think this is another good hair set from AG, perfect for beginners.

Salon Chair and Wrap Set

 I just don't like the looks of this salon chair. It just looks cheaper than the past salon chairs, and it reminds me of a plastic Our Generation salon chair. I do like the wrap though!

Sparkle and Spin Skating Outfit

Although I am usually not a fan of AG's skating sets, I really like this one! The color of the dress is really pretty, and the style looks very realistic.

Truly Blue Hairstyling Caddy

 I really like AG's newest hair caddy! I especially like the shape and color, and the accessories it comes with are adorable!

Truly Me #65

 I think the other new Truly Me doll is pretty and I love the combination of the bright red hair with those striking blue eyes! But, I don't think she is unique enough, and I probably would not buy her.

Waffle Breakfast Set

Again, American Girl is taking a large breakfast set and converting it to a smaller, cheaper set. I think this set is cute, but I noticed that it is very similar to the old Breakfast in Bed set from AG, and I like that set better. Nevertheless, that waffle iron is pretty dang adorable!

Williams-Sonoma Cupcake Set

This one is pretty cute! I've always wanted some AG cupcake set, but most of the sets have been too big and expensive. I would definitely buy this!

Almost Finished a Custom Doll!

Hi! Today, I have some pretty exciting news! My parents and I have been working for hours, trying to eye swap my two dolls. This morning, we finally finished one of them (#22)! I am so excited! We still haven't been able to put the blue eyes back into #30, but hopefully we can finish that in the next few days. The #22 doll is almost ready to sell. I just have to remove some ink marks on her limbs, and order her a new wig. I'll probably sell her on Etsy, so look out for a post on that. So, here are some pictures of her!

So there you have it! I think I'm just going to remove some ink marks on her limbs and give her a new wig, and then she'll be ready to sell! I'm pretty sure I'm either going to keep her blonde, or give her light brown hair. I will probably sell her on Etsy, so lookout for a future post on that. AG's Newest Releases Pt. 2

Hi guys! I'm back with reviewing American Girl's newest pieces. I hope you enjoy part 2! Let's get started!

Hair Salon Scene

So I have never really been into the scenes from AG, but I'm pretty sure they're cardboard. So basically, they are trying to charge us $15 for a piece of cardboard with a picture on it. I think that if I did want a background for my dolls, I would make one myself and save some money. It is cute though. XD

Hairstyle Essentials Set

So, I have no interest in buying this (because I already have an older version of the same set), but again, it seems a bit overpriced. I guess for AG, it's not that bad, but if I didn't already have such low expectations for AG prices, I would definitely not buy this set.

Holiday Penguin PJs 

I actually really love these pajamas! They seem very realistic (for AG pajamas), like I would actually wear something like this to bed. I think my favorite part is that adorable shirt!

Lasagna Dinner Set

I think this set is a really good idea. It's almost exactly like the old dinner set that was bigger and more expensive, but it's smaller and cheaper. This one's perfect for people who maybe only have 2 dolls and don't need the huge set, but like the looks of it. I think this one's going to be a big hit.

Melody's Collection

I just took a pic of her entire collection at once because a. I don't really like any of her collection, and b. she has A LOT of stuff. The only thing I actually like is her table and chairs set, which I may actually get some day. I could complain all day about her items, but I'm sure you don't want to hear that. XD

Merry Magenta Outfit

This outfit is one of my favorites. I think it is so unique and different from any of AG's previous holiday outfits, and it looks so realistic! Like, I could totally see this at a store in human size. I will definitely be buying this one before the holidays!

Dolls Arrived + Painting my Dollhouse?!?!

Hey guys! So today has been a pretty hectic day. Yesterday, my friend SB helped me paint my dollhouse. We got the salon, kitchen, and Sadie's room painted, but I still had 5 more rooms to paint. Today, I woke up, picked some apples from the apple tree in my backyard, and started painting the rest of the dollhouse. At around 11 or 12 (I think), the mailman came and delivered a package. It was my dolls! I unpacked them and the accessories, and then I got back to work painting. Here are some before pics of the dolls:

In these pictures, the only thing I had done was brush out #22's hair. So yeah! I am super excited to customize these dolls, and I'm kind of falling in love with #30, so she may be the next doll I buy from AG. :P Anyways, I'll talk to you tomorrow!

AG's Newest Releases Pt. 1

Hi guys! So I know I'm a bit late on the new releases at AG, but I figured better late than never. I'm not going to talk about all of the new items today, since there are a lot, but I'll go over part 1.

Blender and Milkshake set

I actually like this set, but $24 seems like a lot for 6 pieces, considering you can get some outfits for the same price. It also seems like if I bought this set, I would hardly ever actually use most of the pieces. But, the actual milkshakes are kind of adorable :P

Christmas Eve Set

Your guess is as good as mine why American Girl would release, not only winter outfits, but a Christmas Eve set?!?! Why? It's still August! I haven't even started school! Let's not get ahead of ourselves. Again, $32 for a couple of tiny pieces? I don't understand. At least the Santa hat pretty cute.

Dining Table and Chairs

I think this one is okay. I mean, compared to other AG furniture pieces, the price is okay. I am just not a fan of the pink and blue theme. I definitely preferred the green and white of the last table. It just doesn't seem as realistic to have a pink and blue themed kitchen. 

Enchanting Winter Outfit

Like I said earlier, isn't it a bit early to release Winter items? I actually do really like this set, especially the turtle neck sweater. I could definitely see myself buying this IN THE WINTER.

Golden Sparkle Outfit

I think this outfit is cute, but it seems a bit much. The entire dress is literally covered in sparkles! I think this one will appeal more to younger girls. I don't think I would buy this one.

Gourmet Kitchen Set

I actually think this one is reasonably priced, considering all of the accessories it comes with. And the quality seems better than most AG furniture pieces. I would definitely buy this one if I wasn't broke! XD

Anyway, I hope you guys enjoyed me complaining about most of the new AG pieces! I am actually pretty happy with the newest release from AG. So look out for part 2, hopefully tomorrow! Bye!

Big News!

Hi! As you can probably tell from the title, I bought the eBay lot! I am so excited to customize and resell these dolls (And get to keep the other stuff he he). So here is a picture of the lot!

It comes with a JLY #22 doll, a JLY doll or a Jess doll (I can't tell from the pictures), Kanani's lounge chair, 5 outfits, and a bunch of accessories. YAY! So now let's talk customization.

I'm thinking about eye swapping the two dolls so that JLY #22 has brown eyes and Jess/JLY doll has blue eyes. I have also narrowed down the wig options:

So what do you think? I think they are both going to turn out great. :) I am really hoping that I can make a decent profit off of them, but I'm not 100% sure.
